1963 Lola Mk6 GT

FULL BODY AND MECHANICAL RESTORATION

This Lola MK6 GT was manufactured in Bromley in May 1963 for the Lola's works entry in that years Le Mans. The Lola has a 4.7 Litre Ford Fairline engine. It is one of three Lola MK6 GT's ever manufactured.

In 1963, it was raced at Le Mans by Richard Attwood and David Hobbs, and in October of the same year it was tested at Monza by Bruce Mclaren and further tests were followed at Goodwood and Snetterton. The following 25 years of the Lola's life were spent in the USA and Canada where it was modified by Alf Francis.
