In October the Lotus 6 was entered into the Stirling Moss Trophy race in Portugal at the Portimao circuit, to be driven by owner driver Chris Rea and co driven by Richard Hodson. This was the first visit to this new circuit so a lot of learning
was needed by both drivers.

The Lotus is one of the smallest engined cars in the race but qualified
well in 24th position.

Richard started the race and within a few laps was into 15th place. After
30mins, Chris took over for the next 60 min session but on his final lap prior to
handing over to Richard for the final session, whilst leading his
class and holding 13th position the differential failed so he had to retire.

Overall despite that disappointment it showed the little car could hold it's
own in much large capacitated company.

At Outon Park, the Ferrari posted a fastest lap in its class but unfortunatly didn't finish due to treacherous wet race conditions.

The Ferrari 308 GT4 won its class at Zandvoort Race Circuit this weekend.

The Ferrari completed its first race this weekend at Castle Combe driven by owner Chris Rea. He won its class, came 7th overall and set the sixth fastest time. This coming weekend he will be racing at Zandvoort in Holland over a 3 day period.
