1934 Wolsely Hornet

This 1934 Wolseley Hornet Eustace Watkins Daytona Special was in storage in Canada from 1948 until we imported it back to the UK in 2005. Restoration began in 2006.

The overall condition was very complete but when disassembled, the ash frame and the metalwork required serious restoration. Some of the original wooden frame was retained. The bulkhead and front scuttle top were retained along with the doors and wings. New bodywork was hand built in our workshops for the main body shell.

The chassis was undamaged, has been sandblasted and stove enamelled. Suspension, engine, gearbox and axle have all been overhauled and replaced back onto the chassis.
